Exploring Morocco
Location: The Cooking School (upstairs from Farley), Building 602
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Dating back to the 7th century bc, the rich flavors of Morocco are more similar to Middle Eastern cuisines than they are to the rest of Africa. Moroccan cuisine has always reflected the cultural aspects of the country with different, ancient regional traditions.
Menu may include:
Moroccan Carrot Salad
Classic Lentils
Moroccan Roasted Eggplant
Chicken Tagine with Preserved Lemons & Olives
Grilled Lamb Kebabs with Couscous
Traditional Almond Cookies and Moroccan Mint Tea
Our public classes include a combination of hands-on work and demonstration.
Please note that if a minimum number of participants is not met 72 hours prior to the class, the class may be canceled and participants will be fully refunded. Should you need to cancel your class reservation, you may do so within 72 hours of the scheduled class start time without penalty and a full refund will be extended. If you cancel less than 72 hours in advance, the full cost of the class will be forfeited. Minimum age for public classes is 15 years old, unless otherwise noted.
Beer, wine, and sparkling wine will be available for purchase on-site. Tickets include complimentary valet or self-parking. Should you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so up to 72 hours prior to the event. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will not be refunded.
