Cooking in the Blue Zone
Location: The Cooking School (upstairs from Farley), Building 602
Time: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
The concept of Blue Zones came about through the demographic research of Gianna Pet and Michel Poulain, which was outlined in the Journal of Experimental Gerontology. Exploring the habits of areas of extreme longevity became the basis for further study. Cooking in the Blue Zone means minimizing sugar, dairy and animal proteins. Join us for an exploration of a Blue Zone kitchen as a part of our Wellness Retreat.
